Dr. Robert Jeffress Responds to San Bernardino Terrorist Attacks
Returning to God in prayer is the first step to curing what ails our nation
On Sunday, December 6, pastor and Bible teacher Dr. Robert Jeffress responded to the recent terrorist attacks in San Bernardino to the congregation of First Baptist Dallas. Dr. Jeffress said that no nation that rejects God can be blessed by God, but he also offered a cure for what ails our nation today: a prayerful return to God.
“What is the cure for what is happening in the nation right now? It’s the same cure — the same solution that God gave more than 3,000 years ago to His people when He said in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “if My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
Returning to God as a nation in prayer perhaps is not the only thing we need to do, but it is certainly the first thing we need to do. — Dr. Robert Jeffress
