From Impossible To Victory

Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
–1 Corinthians 15:57

As God leads us throughout our lives, we will all encounter Red Sea moments, times when our backs are against the wall and our circumstances seem impossible. The question is not whether we will have Red Sea moments–the question is, how will we respond to each Red Sea moment?

Will we complain and gripe? Will we panic and worry? Will we merely tolerate it? Or will we seize the moment, see God’s miraculous intervention, and showcase His glory through our circumstances, both for now and for the future?

With God, there is no such thing as an impossible situation. He assures us of this over and over in His Word:

  • “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?” (Jeremiah 32:27).
  • “With God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26).
  • “Nothing will be impossible with God” (Luke 1:37).
  • “The things that are impossible with people are possible with God” (Luke 18:27).

As we come face-to-face with our own Red Sea moments, let’s seize the opportunity to trust in the One who will supernaturally deliver us through them and give us victory over them. Then we will be able to proclaim with the Apostle Paul, “Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57).
