What is the future of radical Islam, and what does it have to do with Bible prophecy? I admit that nowhere in the Bible does the word “Islam” or “ISIS” appear. Moses wouldn’t have understood that any more than he would have understood an airplane or a smartphone. But as we look at what Scripture says about the end times, we see three mentions of what we know as radical Islam in God’s prophetic future.

Is Islam just another way to worship God? Let me say this without any hesitation: Islam is a false religion that is based on a false book that was written by a false prophet. Islam is a false religion. If you sincerely follow the tenets of Islam, then you will end up in hell when you die. Islam does not lead people to God. It leads people away from the true God.

Why is there so much conflict between Muslims and Jews today? Muslims cannot accept the fact that the eternal covenant God made to Abraham in Genesis 12 went through Isaac and not through Ishmael. Thus, the land that God promised Abraham and his descendants rightfully belongs to the descendants of Isaac (Jews), not to the descendants of Ishmael (Arabs).

What is the origin of Islam? Contrary to what you may think, Islam did not originate 1,400 years ago with Muhammad. Its beginning was 4,000 years ago with a man named Abram (later Abraham). We find the story in Genesis 12. Abraham was a wealthy man who lived in Ur of the Chaldees, in modern Iraq. God appeared to Abraham and said, “Go forth from your country, and from your relatives and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you; and I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great. … And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed” (Genesis 12:1-3).

The interviewer asked a simple question: “Can we expect more beheadings in the United States?” The answer from Robert Spencer was immediate and direct: “Nothing is more certain than that.” Mr. Spencer knows what he is talking about. He is the director of Jihad Watch, an organization devoted to exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in modern global conflicts. He understands the connection between radical Islam and terrorism.
